Create fill in the blank exercises

Write a text and choose which words to hide: the pupil fills the gaps and gets the correction immediately. Works for grammar, vocabulary and reading comprehension.

This is the quickest exercise to prepare — a text and a few clicks is all it takes. Reuse it by changing only which words are hidden.

How to create this exercise

1. Write or paste your text.
2. Select a word and turn it into a blank. You can make as many blanks as you like.
3. Check the list of blanks.
4. Write the instruction shown at the top of the page.

Tip: Leave the first sentence intact. When the pupil can see how the text runs, the blanks stop being isolated guesses.
