Create read along exercises with audio
Pair a text with its recording: the pupil listens and follows the words on screen. Valuable support for those still learning to read and for anyone who needs repetition.
Record your own voice or use existing audio, and add an image alongside the text. The activity stays available at home too, at the pupil’s own pace.
How to create this exercise
- Write or paste the text the pupil will read.
- Add an image alongside the text if you want one.
- Record or upload the audio the pupil listens to.
- Choose the timing: none, a duration, or a time limit.
Tip: Leave the timing off while reading is still being learned. A time limit measures fluency, so save it for when the reading no longer stumbles.
