Online drawing board
On the drawing board the pupil produces their answer by hand with the pen: drawing, marking, sketching. Drawing by hand develops fine motor skills and supports visual thinking, and it gives the pupil free space to express what they understand when ready-made options are not enough.
You can use the board for open tasks — sketch it, join them up, mark the picture — where the pupil’s own work is the answer.
How to create this exercise
- Add text, images and drawing areas to the page.
- Set a background image if you want one.
- Arrange the elements in the order you want them stacked.
- Save the page as part of your story.
Tip: Leave plenty of empty space around a drawing area. A child's handwriting takes more room than an adult expects, and a cramped box shows immediately in the quality of the writing.
